What a shame. Rude stuck up atmosphere. Still same old trailor for clubhouse. What is Brighton thinking of letting this stay a trailor. Starter Ron was rude we will not return.

Not worth the time or money. Trailor trash is still trailor trash. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck it is still a duck. Hard to imagine they would still be in a trailor as a permanent clubhouse. Where are they taking this industry. We sure miss the old staff what a difference in the wrong direction.

I have wanted to play this course for some time......and today was the day. The weather was overcast with misty moments but 60 degrees and no wind..it was good to go.
This is a golfing community course that has 50% of the houses hidden in the tree/brush lined fairways and the other half exposed. The homes are set back far enough not to take away from the beautiful and sculptured hole layouts that await you.
We played from the Blues 6,639yds / 72.3 / 135 on this traditional Par 36/36 five (5) tee box selection that is target golf at its finest. Every tee box has a forced carry (50 - 200yd) to the non-typical angled fairways. This is a real "Target Golf" layout and spraying will be penalized on any shot. I only felt comfortable hitting driver six (6) times to the 210 - 220yd landing areas. I always seem to be finding the angle of the fairway I needed to land tee shot on and then getting to the right angle to hit the hidden green. Lucky the guys I played with knew the distances which helped ALOT. They had the 150yd center of fairway and they mostly were in the wide landing areas, as a rule.
Starting the day on #1 / 567yd / Par 5 and the #1 HDCP hole will humble you right at the beginning. You need to hit the dogleg in your 2nd shot (440yds) to get a look at the green, I couldn't see it today. Many of the holes are set-up with little tricks like this or hidden water carries.
All conditions tee to green were top notch with no real flaws other than forced carries could be identified better to first time players. No walking on this course as many cart drives from hole to hole felt like 1/4 mile or more. I shot 41/40 w/ 30 putts as my coming up short, chip/putt was saving my butt many times over. Greens had morning dew on them and were slower so that helped me greatly as my partners pointed out many times to me.
Its $54 on the weekend and $42 M-F which will have me coming back again. Oh, and about the Clubhouse mentioned in a earlier review.......this place is "Top Notch" now. (No Trailer) Stop in and you won't be disappointed. (Bring Bug Spray)
